Lynn Agency Inc. is contracted with Managed Care Organizations to act as the fiscal intermediary for their Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program. We process wages and benefits for the personal assistants who provide care for the consumer.
What is the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program?
The Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program is a Medicaid program that provides services to chronically ill or physically disabled individuals who have a medical need for assistance with activities of daily living or skilled nursing services. Services are provided by a consumer directed personal assistant and can include any of the care or treatment provided by a personal care aide, home health aide or nurse.
Consumers must be able and willing to make informed choices regarding the management of their services, or they can have a legal guardian or designated relative or other adult willing and able to help with informed decisions. The consumer or designee is responsible for the recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and terminating caregivers. Consumers can hire a family member, friend, neighbor or any other adult except spouses and mothers of individuals under 21 years of age.
The CDPAP program allows you to be in control of your care and how it is provided!
